Tibet to complete registering 200,000 cultural relics

Over 170,000 movable cultural relics in Potala Palace have been documented by now. Tibet started to register and document removable cultural relics after China's central government decided to do a nationwide survey on it back in 2013.

It is expected that the documenting of 200,000 cultural relics will be completed by the end of this year.

Potala Palace has a history of over 1,300 years and is among the first batch of Major National Historical and Cultural Sites. It has a total amount of over 1000,000 cultural relics.
