15 families of train crash victims accept compensation

Fifteen families of the victims of a deadly high-speed train crash in east China's Zhejiang Province have agreed to accept government compensation as of late Saturday, authorities said.
Families who agreed will receive about 915,000 yuan (about 143,000 U.S.dollars) for each victim. The payment was almost doubled from the original offer of 500,000 yuan.
Forty people were killed and over 190 were injured a week ago when a bullet train rammed into another that had stalled after being hit by lightning.
