Cupid's arrow strikes at home

A 96-year-old woman has married a man 25 years her junior at a home for the elderly in Chongqing municipality.

The woman surnamed Zhong was excommunicated from her family for being infertile when she was 20 years old and has been living at the nursing home since 1982.

She met her new husband, Pan Zicai, at the home and he began to care for her following the death of her second husband in 2007.

Pan said the couple decided to wed because they felt it would be more appropriate for him to take care of her if they were legally married.
