A scuffle broke out between residents and property management security staff at a government subsidized residential area in Beijing Tuesday.

Over 400 people spent two days waiting in a queue outside the offices of the Hongye Xingyuan residential compound, Fengtai district.
Many had been surviving on packed lunches and water and sitting on portable stools. Each resident was hoping to grab one of the 233 parking spaces that the low-income housing was offering.
"I heard shouting at the front of the line and people saying a fight took place," said Ren Xin, a resident who had been waiting since Monday for her parking space.
A representative from the Hongjiqang property management company surnamed Wang said all the parking spaces will be rented out on a first-come-first-served basis, and residents must line up.
According to the company, at present there are 780 parking spaces for the 2,300 fami-lies living there.
Wang added that the first batch of 233 ground level parking spaces have been rented out Tuesday at a cost of 150 yuan ($22.53) per month. A further 217 spaces in the compound's underground parking lot will be rented out Thursday at 350 yuan ($52.57) per month.
This is not the first dispute regarding residential parking spaces. China National Radio reported Tuesday that dissatisfied residents from Sanhe, Hebei Province, blocked the expressway from Hebei to Beijing Monday evening.
China News Service reported that there are 28,019 residential parking spaces available in Beijing this year.
The report said the number of vehicles in Beijing increased by 30,000 last week.
