Rescuers retrieved the bodies of five workers swept away by floodwaters Monday after a landslide caused a pool to overflow in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, local authorities said Wednesday.

The accident happened near a sewage pool in a mountainous region of Luochuan County, local authorities said in a statement.
