A truck and a coach collided at the entrance of an expressway in northeast China's Jilin Province Friday, triggering a fire and leaving an unknown number of casualties, local authorities said.
The accident took place at about 2:30 pm near Changchun, the provincial capital. The coach is able to sit 45 passengers, but the number of people onboard at the time of collision was not immediately known.
Witnesses said some people onboard the coach, which caught fire after the collision, were charred.
The truck was carrying paper products.
