Four people drowned after a boat capsized and sank on a river in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province Friday, local authorities said Tuesday.
The boat capsized on the Songhua River amid a strong current and high winds, throwing eight people into the river. Four were saved.
Rescuers found two bodies Sunday and two more Monday, said Zhou Hongjun, deputy director of the Harbin Municipal Work Safety Administration, Tuesday.
The sunken boat was salvaged Monday.
The fisheries and work safety authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
