Hu to meet Taiwan guests attending Shanghai Expo

Chinese President Hu Jintao will meet representatives of Taiwan guests attending the upcoming Shanghai World Expo.
Fan Liqing, spokeswoman for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, told a press conference held in Beijing Wednesday that more than 100 Taiwan dignitaries had been invited by the Expo organizing committee to attend the Expo.
They include Taiwan-based Kuomintang Honorary Chairman Lien Chan and Wu Poh-hsiung, as well as the People First Party Chairman James Soong.
