A five-storey apartment building in Hung Hom of Hong Kong collapsed all of a sudden Friday afternoon, local media reported.

One person was killed in the sudden collapse of a 5-story apartment building in Hong Kong Friday afternoon.

A 40-year-old woman was certified dead before being admitted to the hospital. Two men, aged 52 and 79, made their own way to the hospital to seek medical treatment.

Police have set up a casualty hotline for the public to make enquiry on the casualties of this incident.

Initial enquiries revealed that one person died and two others were injured in the incident.
