A fire which broke out at the Big World shopping mall early Monday in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang Province, is deemed suspicious by police, www.cnr.cn reported.

The mall, located in a 27-floor business complex building covering 6,270 square meters, was housed in the ground floor to the seventh floor. The third and fourth floors caught fire first, according to reports.

Police suspect someone deliberately started the fire, which sent 320 firefighters to the scene.

No casualties or losses have been reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
