A man had to pay 1,000 yuan for crashing his car into another sedan at a traffic signal, as he was "distracted by a girl in mini skirt" in Liuzhou, the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, last Tuesday.

The erring driver said he was staring at a girl who was wearing a very short skirt and failed to spot the stationary car in front of him.

Traffic police forced him to pay 1,000 yuan as compensation.
