A man was executed on Tuesday for trafficking in about 48 kg of drugs in south China's Guangdong Province, local court said.
Lu Fuguo was accused of making and trafficking in 48 kg of drugs including "magu", a Thai word for a stimulant drug that is a combination of methamphetamine and caffeine, methyl amphetamine and caffeine, in Dongguan City since April 2006, according to a ruling of Dongguan Municipal Intermediate People's Court.
Lu was caught on Nov. 6, 2006, and was confiscated 1 million yuan (146,413 US dollars) worth of personal property.
