China should take measures to prevent export growth from slowing
too much, hurting economic expansion, the official China
Securities Journal reported, citing Yu Yongding, a former
central bank adviser.
The government should boost domestic consumption to sustain
growth and control the narrowing of the trade surplus "within a
certain range," said Yu, a researcher at the government-backed
Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing.
