Forex reserves increase substantially in 1st 2 months

An informed source told China Business News that China's foreign reserves increased by US$110 billion in first two months of 2008. This figure surpasses one quarter of the entire gain in 2007. The reserves increased by US$61.6 billion in January, the largest monthly increase to date and jumped by US$57.3 billion in February.

No government official has confirmed the information until now.
