China sets a new world record for search requests

According to 2007 Q3 China Search Engine Research Report by the iResearch Consulting Group, Chinese netizens have sent over 10 billion search requests every month from this September, while their American counterparts only sent 9.4 billion requests over the same period. This is the first time that China has surpassed the US in this aspect. China has established a world record for monthly search requests.

Chinese netizens have now increased to 172 billion and over 96 percent of them are using search engines.
