CITIC Bank, Mizuho Corporate Bank sign memorandum

The China CITIC BankĀ announced that it has signed a cooperation memorandum with the Mizuho Corporate Bank and its subsidiaries in China, indicating that they will cooperate on issues concerning a green economy, a clean development system and China-Japan bilateral trade financing.

 

The two parties are discussing content details regarding cooperation in order to reach a formal agreement. The China CITIC Bank will disclose the agreement contents later.

 

The Mizuho Corporate Bank is one of the institutional investorsĀ in China CITIC Bank, which was listed in April this year. The Mizuho Corporate Bank spent no more than HK$400 million to subscribe shares from China CITIC Bank. It holds 68.26 million H shares, accounting for 0.17 percent of the total stock issue.
