Facebook's founder Zuckerberg marries his long-time girlfriend Priscillan Chan in a low-key ceremony at his home in Palo Alto, California. |
Facebook's founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his Chinese-American wife Priscilla Chan met at a Harvard frat party in 2002.
"He was this nerdy guy who was just a little bit out there," Chan told the New Yorker.
"I remember he had these beer glasses that said 'pound include beer dot H.' It's a tag for C++.
"It's like college humour but with a nerdy, computer-science appeal."
The pair have been officially dating since November 7, 2003, soon after the infamous "Facemash" stunt at Harvard University that almost saw him expelled.
Before they married, the couple lived in a US$7 million house in Palo Alto, California, which the young billionaire purchased in 2011.
Last year, Microsoft founder Bill Gates had a slip of tongue when he said his pal and Facebook founder Mark Zukerberg had gotten engaged with Priscilla Chan.
On May 19, 2012, Zuckerberg married Priscilla Chan in a low-key ceremony at his home in Palo Alto, California.
Chan graduated from Harverd, the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based university in 2007 with a degree in biology.
According to her Facebook page, Chan taught science to 4th and 5th graders at The Harker School in 2007 and 2008 before going back to school to study medicine. Chan graduated from School of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco almost at the time when they married.
