China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) said Tuesday it will sell 10 billion yuan (1.53 billion U.S. dollars) of book-entry discount treasury bonds.
The bonds will carry a mature term of 91 days and be issued on a discount basis through a competitive tender from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on April 15, the MOF said in a statement.
The bonds will be sold from April 18 to 20 and become tradable on the securities markets on April 22.
The issue is the first batch of its kind this year.
