Beijing Tongrentang Co., Ltd., a leading traditional Chinese medicine maker, reported earnings Monday, posting a net profit of 340 million yuan in 2010, up 19 percent from a year earlier.
The company's earnings per share were 0.659 yuan last year.
Tongrentang brought in 3.8 billion yuan in operating revenue for 2010, up 16 percent year-on-year. The company's sales revenue from overseas markets climbed 55 percent year-on-year to 330 million yuan.
According to data from the General Administration of Customs, Tongrentang remained the largest exporter of traditional Chinese medicine by export volume in 2010.
Shares of Tongrentang dropped 3.66 percent and closed at 38.44 yuan on Monday.
