Chinese shares almost flat at midday

Chinese shares closed almost flat at midday Monday.

By the midday break, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.41 percent to end at 2,827.14.

The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.27 percent to 12,540.43 at midday.
