CRIC announces strategic cooperation with Baidu

China Real Estate Information Corporation (CRIC), a leading provider of real estate information, consulting, and online services, announced its strategic cooperation agreement with Baidu, China's search engine giant on Thursday.
According to the agreement, CRIC will exclusively run all the channels related to property and home life, including house.baidu.com, leju.baidu.com, jiaju.baidu.com, and extract revenues from these channels.
"The strategic cooperation with Baidu is an important milestone for CRIC, as a leading provider of real estate information, consulting, and online services, CRIC has cooperated with Sina to run the property platform including leju.com, house.sina.com.cn and jiaju.sina.com.cn," Zhou Xi, chairman of the firm said.
"We will create a new search platform for property information via the cooperation with Baidu and provide our services to Baidu users. CRIC will provide a more complete and timely information to users interested in the real estate field to further consolidate CRIC's leading position," he added.
According to Zhou, CRIC has also added new channels like, second- hand houses and tourism real estate on the bases of the previous channels. And the cooperation with Baidu will offer CRIC new engines for the development of these channels.
