Xi'an Aircraft International Corp was profitable in the first quarter of this year and predicted that its first-half net income will total at least 107 million yuan, backed by new deliveries.
The aircraft maker's net income was 2.6 million yuan in the first quarter, compared with a loss of 13.63 million yuan a year earlier, and its revenue declined 17.12 percent to 1.04 billion yuan, the company said in a statement to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange yesterday.
It predicted that its first-half profit will range from 107 million yuan to 133 million yuan as more new planes will be delivered in the second quarter, compared with a year earlier.
