Hong Kong's Monetary Authority announced Monday that the composite interest rate rose by one basis point to 0.12 percent at the end of March, from 0.11 percent at the end of February.
The news release said the rise was brought about by upward adjustments in interbank rates.
In March, overnight interbank rates and those with maturities of one month or longer rose by 1.5 to 7.8 basis points.
