A Framework Agreement on Hong Kong-Guangdong Cooperation will be signed tomorrow in Beijing.
According to a news release from Hong Kong yesterday, Chief Executive Donald Tsang and the Governor of Guangdong Province Huang Huahua will sign the agreement at the Great Hall of the People.
The pact is the first such agreement to be signed between Hong Kong and Guangdong, which is endorsed by the State Council, the Cabinet.
It translates the macro strategies on deepening Hong Kong-Guangdong cooperation laid down in the "Outline of the Plan for the Reform and Development of the Pearl River Delta" into concrete policies and measures, laying a foundation for seeking to incorporate the relevant content of the pact into the national 12th Five-Year Plan.
