Chinese shares open higher on last Monday in March

Chinese equities opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.53 percent to open at 3,076.05 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.50 percent to 12,301.60 points.
