ZTE Corp, China's second-biggest maker of phone-network equipment, will invest 600 million yuan (US$88 million) to form a new software unit. The Shenzhen-based company's board approved the plan to establish Xi'an Zhongxing New Software Co. yesterday, ZTE said in a statement to Hong Kong's stock exchange.
