UnionPay teams up in Malaysia

China UnionPay Co yesterday teamed up with Malaysian Electronic Payment System to enable UnionPay card acceptance on automatic teller machines in Malaysia.

 

MEPS's three major member banks will offer such services first, accounting for more than half of the ATMs in the country. MEPS's other member banks will also start services in the future, UnionPay said yesterday. MEPS has 14 members in total.
