A multi-media exhibition, which features a total of 37, 10-minute short films on Shakespeare's plays, is now being held in the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.

Lucy Watkins, Counselor of the Culture and Education Section of British Embassy in China, attended the opening ceremony of this exhibition titled "The Complete Walk" on Sunday.

"On the weekend, the 400 anniversary of Shakespeare's death, families, Shakespeare's enthusiasts, visitors and the general public walked the Shakespeare path, and enjoyed a unique and unforgettable overview of this entire opus. This was the original complete walk, a project initiated by Shakespeare's Globe in London to celebrate the scale and reach of Shakespeare's imagination, life and legacy. I'm very happy to see this fantastic project has now come to Beijing, taking the form of a multimedia exhibition, held in the state-of-art building, Tianqiao performing arts center and free to the public for over a month."

Visitors may also have interactive experiences on their tour of the center.

The Tianqiao Performing Arts Center introduced this exhibition as part of the celebrations for the center's one-year anniversary. It first opened in November 2015.

Tianqiao's arts pedigree dates back centuries and the location is famous for traditional cultural performances such as acrobatics, cross-talk and Chinese opera.
