Singer Karen Mok to wed in Oct with first BF

Hong Kong singer Karen Mok announced she will get married in October when she accepted the award for best female singer at the 22nd Golden Melody Awards ceremony in Taipei on Saturday night.
According to the Information Times, the 41-year-old singer will tie the knot with her first boyfriend, a German named Johannes. They first met when Karen was 17 when she was studying in Italy and they dated for one year.

In 2003 their paths crossed again when Karen ran into Johannes in Germany. This was when she was shooting a film by Jackie Chan. Johannes was already a father of three at the time.
It was not until 2009 when they rekindled their romance and Johannes proposed to Karen in April this year.
The lovebirds plan to get married in the city in northeastern Italy where they met and fell in love.
Karen was crowned the Best Mandarin Female Singer this year, making it the second time she has won the awards' top honor.
She said she will not retire from showbiz after getting married.
The singer will have her solo concert in Guangzhou later on July 9. The concert organizer is reported to have suggested that Karen don a wedding gown for the much anticipated show.
