Lucas Tse, the three-year-old son of Hong Kong star couple Cecilia Cheung and Nicholas Tse, is following in his parents' show-business footsteps.

Lucas will join his actress mother in a comedy film provisionally named "Treasure Hunt" ("Wu Jia Zhi Bao"), the "West China Metropolis Daily" reports, citing He Shiping, President of the film's investment company, Emei Film Group.

In his acting debut, Lucas will play a child who travels to a small island with his parents and encounters a gang.

Cecilia Cheung plays the boy's mother in the film. Other cast members and the director have yet to be announced.
