Popular writer, Han Han, is a father now, the stunning news comes from nobody else but the writer himself.
The writer-turned-pop-star has admitted to a media outlet, Southern Metropolis Entertainment Weekly, of his present fatherhood identity and talked openly of his wife, who remains in hiding from the public eye for the first time.
The 28-year-old writer caught widespread media attention after Chen Zhaohua, chief editor of the magazine, disclosed on his microblog Sunday, March 13, of their recent interview about the writer who opened up about his married life and frankly talked about his parenting.
There were previous media reports about Han, who allegedly held a shotgun marriage with his girlfriend Jin Lihua last May and had a baby daughter last November. However, Han has kept his lips tightly-sealed, which made a splash among the public.
The new edition of the magazine, featuring the young man on the cover along with the title, "Han Han A Father Now", would be sold to the public on Monday, March 14.
Han made his name with his first novel, Triple Gate in 2000. He has become more popular with innovative works and incisive comments on hot social issues on his blog. Labeled as an opinion leader of people born in 1980s, Han Han ranks among world's 100 most influential people by Time magazine in 2010.
