Director Ding Sheng's action film "The Underdog Knight 2", starring Liu Ye, Vincent Chiao, Yoo Seung-Jun, Liu Hailong and Zhang Zilin, is now filming in Qingdao in east China's Shandong Province, the Beijing News reports.

Liu Ye, best actor winner at the 38th Golden Horse Awards, continues in the role of Lao San in the sequel. He expressed that he had been enjoying the job, even though the weather was "hot as hell." While waiting on set, he joked that the director might have a grudge against him. "Have you met any director who hates an actor this much, inviting a national Sanda (free-style fighting) champion to do combat with me? I just beat sandbags and 'fought' with kids on regular days."
In addition, Liu has confirmed the rumor that he will transfer to Strategic Media International along with his agent, Chang Jihong. "I did sign a contract with Strategic Media International. I have been with Chang since 2002. She is like my mother emotionally."
