In an amazing repeat of last year's MTV Movie Awards, vampires from "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" make a clean sweep of all five awards for which they were nominated.
The top grossing "Avatar" lost out with no awards at the ceremony on Sunday in Los Angeles.
At the ceremony at Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson won two golden popcorn statues for Best Male Performance and MTV's newest category Global Superstar, in recognition of his universal appeal. Co-star Kristen Stewart took the top spot for the second year in a row for Best Female Performance.
The Best Movie and Kiss (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart) also went to the youth flick in a surprisingly similar repeat of the romp the original "Twilight" film performed last year.
Trailing the vampire movie in the second spot was "The Hangover," which had six nods, grabbing two awards, with Zach Galifianakis winning Best Comedic Performance and Ken Jeong being honored with Best WTF Moment.
Best Breakout Star went to Anna Kendrick for her performance in "Up In The Air." The Badass award went to Rain for his performance in "Ninja Assassin," and Amanda Seyfried won a golden popcorn for Best Scared As S**T Performance in "Jennifer's Body."
The Villain award went to Tom Felton for his role as Draco Malfoy in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
Among notable losses at the kudofest: Betty White may be the hottest senior in the tween world these days, but her "cop a feel" scene in "The Propopsal" lost best WTF moment to "naked trunk surprise" in "The Hangover."
Beyonce Knowles and Ali Larter won Best Fight for their onscreen slap fest in "Obsessed."
