Chinese-American filmmaker Dayyan Eng has started filming his new movie "Inseparable" in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, Sina.com reports.

Dayyan Eng is set to produce and direct the black-comedy from his own script, the report said.

Award-winning U.S actor Kevin Spacey ("American Beauty" and "The Usual Suspects") will star as a mysterious American expatriate who befriends a young engineer with problems at work and at home, played by Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu ("Shinjuku Incident" and "Overheard").

Eng's actress-wife Gong Beibi, who has also starred in his last two projects ("Waiting Alone" and "Bus 44"), will play the wife of Daniel Wu.

Wu told media it is the most difficult and challenging role he has ever undertaken in his career.
