Classic drama "Secret Love of Peach Blossom Land" by Stan Lai took to the stage in the Capital Theater on Wednesday night marking its 3rd anniversary, Sina.com reports.

The sold-out show welcomed many enthusiastic fans who had shown up for the drama's theatre debut three years ago. Many audience members were still queueing outside for a highly-sought-after ticket even after the performance had begun.

Credited as the most popular contemporary drama ever, "Secret Love of Peach Blossom Land" has received over 300-thousand viewers over 160 shows in the past three years.

Actors Huang Lei, Sun Li, He Jiong and Yang Lele were the lead actors on stage and the fullhouse applauded their performance.

Other actors including Yuan Quan and Xie Na who formerly held roles in the drama, sent their wishes.

The drama continues in its charitable spirit and produced a special calendar for charity sales. The earnings will go to disaster-hit areas in Sichuan to support reconstruction work there.

After Beijing, the show tours China, hitting cities such as Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, and Shenzhen.
