The northeast Chinese city of Harbin recently unveiled its first-ever railroad museum built on a street. It contains a miniature railway network of 82 meters long, including a railway station of European style and such facilities as a railway-signaling system.
The museum is located at Anhong Street, the site of a century-old disused rail-line which was demolished in 2006 for the city's traffic and water supply renovation projects, according to a website covering local Harbin news.
