The Shanghai Sightseeing Bus is moving from its Shanghai Stadium departure site temporarily for the 2007 Special Olympic Summer Games.
The new site is at Sanhui Road near Huashi Road, on the west side of IKEA.
Most buses during the National Day holiday will set out from Yangpu (near Wujiaochang Area), Hongkou (at the Hongkou Stadium) and the Shanghai Railway Station.
Tickets for the "Golden Week" started to sell at the weekend for routes covering the city suburbs and surrounding provinces, including Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui.
New trips have been added, such as a two-day trip to Qiandao Lake and a two-day trip to Yuyao in Zhejiang. In the suburbs, the Sightseeing Bus has developed a route to Guyiyuan Park and Nanxiang Town in Jiading District - the park will have an exhibition of bamboo culture while the town will stage a display of Nanxiang mini-steamed buns for the culture-hungry during the holiday.
The bus will also promote "lazybones" products letting tourists arrange their own timetables and routes.
