Cooks making China's biggest mooncake Monday afternoon in
Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province.
The biggest mooncake ever made by a super food market Monday
afternoon in northeast China's city Shenyang attracted large number
of local visitors in watching just how it was made.
Ten cooks spent ten hours on finishing the 13-ton giant
mooncakes, with ten types of different flavored stuffings,
including white lotus seeds, red bean paste and pineapple.
The mooncake, with a diameter of 8.15 meters and height of 20
cm, has a total surface area of 52 sq meters.
Staff from the supermarket also prepared a specially big oven,
with a diameter of 9 meters, to bake the mooncake. Adding ten
further hours in oven, the mooncake will be available for tastes on
Tuesday morning.
