Half-Chinese, half-Japanese actor, Takeshi Kaneshiro, attended a press conference on Wednesday in Tokyo to promote the Japanese premiere of his crime flick, Confession of Pain.

Takeshi Kaneshiro, whose career spans China and Japan, enjoys a strong following among Japanese.

Confession of Pain is slated to roll out in Japanese theaters on Saturday.

A cooperation between directors Alan Mak and Andrew Lau, the Hong Kong film also stars Tony Leung, Shu Qi and Xu Jinglei.

It was released in Hong Kong in December.
