A passenger bus collided with a truck on a desert road in Egypt on Sunday, killing 10 people and wounding 10 others, Egypt's official news agency MENA reported.
The accident took place when the back tyre of the bus burst and the driver lost control, MENA quoted Egyptian security officials as saying.
The bus collided with a truck coming from the opposite lane on a road in Minya, about 220 km south of Cairo, after lost control, the report said.
The injured and the dead were shifted to hospital while the security forces also rushed to the scene, the report added.
Egypt reports some 6,000 deaths and some 35,000 injuries in road accidents every year.
