Malaysia advised its nationals on Wednesday to take extra caution when they intend to travel to Bangkok, capital of Thailand.
Malaysian citizens need to take extra precautionary measures if they intend to make a trip to Bangkok due to the unpredictable situation there, Malaysian Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar told reporters after a function in Putrajaya, administrative center of the Malaysian Federal Government.
That is the travel advisory from the Malaysian Foreign Ministry, he was quoted as saying by Malaysia's national news agency Bernama.
More than a dozen bomb explosions hit Bangkok last Sunday, killing at least three people and injuring about 40 others.
On Wednesday, some new bomb threats were reported against several targets at four or five sites in Bangkok and its nearby province of Nontaburi. Thai police reportedly have launched investigations into the bomb threats.
