Wuhan Commemorates Anti-feudalism Revolution
Adjust font size:
A Taiwan delegation comprising nearly 200 political party members, industrial and commercial leaders, experts and scholars arrived in Wuhan, Hubei Province, on Saturday to attend commemorative activities of the 1911 Anti-feudalism Revolution.

This year marks the 95th anniversary of the 1911 Revolution, which was led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen and which overthrew the Qing rulers, ending thousands of years of feudalistic governance in China.

Vice Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of State Council Sun Yafu and Vice Secretary of CPC Hubei Committee Yang Song hosted a welcome banquet for the delegation.

Delivering a speech at the banquet, Yang said that he hoped the economic and cultural cooperation between Hubei and Taiwan would be further developed in the future.

The delegation will also attend a "Wuhan-Taiwan Week" aimed at promoting economic and cultural exchange.
