Chinese player Du Li Wednesday set world records in winning women's 10-meter air rifle gold medals at the shooting World Cup Final's opening day in Granada, Spain.

Du shot a perfect round of 400 to equal the women's qualifying record, a mark she shares with eight others.

Her perfect round helped her in the final, where her 104.6 was enough to overcome teammate Zhao Yinghui, who topscored with 105.6. Zhao Yinghui was second, and Sonja Pfeilschifter of Germany third.

Farnik broke the men's final record with a 703.1 total, surpassing the 702.7 by Zhu Qinan of China in 2004 and Jason Parker of the United States last year.

Liu Tianyou of China was second and Olympic champion Zhu Qinan was third, after winning a shootoff against Alin George Moldoveanu of Romania, 10.4 to 10.2.

Vladimir Isakov of Russia won the men's 50-meter pistol with 668, Xu Kun of China scored 659.7 for silver, and 1996 Atlanta Olympics champ Boris Kokorev of Russia 659 for the bronze.

Russia took another gold in the women's trap with Elena Tkach's score of 90 points, three more than world record-holder Zuzana Stefecekova of Slovakia.

Chiara Cainero of Italy won the women's skeet with a 96 total, one more than Danka Bartekova of Slovakia. The pair both 23 out of 25 in the final.

On Thursday, the men's 10-meter pistol, air rifle from three positions, skeet, and trap will be held, while the women will shoot only in the 10-meter air pistol event.
