Six people were killed and 21 others injured when a bus turned
over on Sunday morning in northwest China's Ningxia
Hui Autonomous Region, local traffic police said.
The bus, with 49 people aboard, was heading for the regional
capital of Yinchuan, from Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan
Province. The vehicle slid on the snowy road and turned over
near Guyuan City at about 11:30 AM.
Five people were killed immediately and another died on the way
to hospital. Most of the 21 injured were in stable condition,
doctors said.
On Saturday night, a bus turned over in north China's Shanxi
Province, killing five people and injuring at least 30.
Local traffic police said the bus hit a roadside barrier and
flipped over on the expressway between Yuncheng and Fenglingdu at
about 11:00 PM.
Five people died at the scene and the injured were
hospitalized.
The causes of both accidents are under investigation.
