The MOH also reported that the SARS patient in Beijing is in stable condition and the one in east China's Anhui Province is continuing to recover.

The SARS patient in Beijing, surnamed Li, is in relatively stable condition and has reported a normal temperature for 11 straight days, the ministry said.

Beijing's five suspected SARS patients were isolated in Ditan Hospital for treatment and observation.

Twelve of the patient's close contacts have been removed from medical observation, the ministry said.
