Chinese cartoon makers are planning a trip to Japan to
participate in the International Cartoon Exposition, aiming to make
an impact on the international market.
The Chinese delegation comprising 50 members will leave for
Japan at the end of March. The expo is expected to be a good
opportunity for Chinese cartoons to go international. Meanwhile,
the market potential of China's cartoon industry has also been
attracting attentions from Japanese counterparts. A special
delegation from Tokyo has come to China to encourage more Chinese
cartoon makers to attend the expo.
They are confident about the potential Chinese market because
China and Japan enjoy profound cultural ties. And Japanese cartoons
have been well received in China during the past twenty years. In
addition, China has been increasingly attaching great importance to
the protection of intellectual property rights, which has given
Japanese cartoon makers rising confidence in the Chinese
market.
