China Awarded for Contributions to Ozone Protection

China has won the Outstanding National Ozone Unit Awards at the ongoing meeting of Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Ozone Layer Depleting Substances.  

The award was also given to Jamaica, Fiji and Senegal.

 

They received the awards in recognition of their outstanding efforts in protecting the ozone layer and implementing the Montreal Protocol in their countries.

 

This year's meeting has attracted over 700 delegates from 185 countries.
