China defeated Brazil 25-23, 25- 21, 25-27 and 25-22 to win the
seventh world volleyball girls youth championships in Pula, Croatia
on Sunday, according to a press release from the International
Volleyball Federation.
The final match witnessed a tight fight, in which China had better
idea for success based on the powerful attacks and precise
serves.
To
the Brazilian team, who boasts of the best blocker of the
tournament Fabiana Claudino, Chinese attacks were unstoppable.
"It was a really tough game. Brazil is a great team. We based our
game on very fast actions, so that Brazilians could not stop us
easily, and this is the main reason we won tonight," said Chinese
team headcoach Huang Xiuqin.
Poland had the bronze medal by defeating Italy in five sets 25- 12,
22-25, 25-22, 23-25 and 15-10.
