Ten years ago, at the Goodwill Games in New York, the Chinese national women's gymnastic team member, Sang Lan, suffered severe spinal injuries. She has been wheelchair-bound since her accident. But now Sang Lan is back in the US as an ambassador for the Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympics.

Sang Lan said, "Promoting the Olympics and taking part in such charity events feel just like being in the games and winning the gold medal myself."
