Veteran Hong Kong actress Sisi Chen died on Sunday in a hospital
in Shanghai, local media reported. She was 69.

Chen died of pancreatic head cancer, chief-director of the
Huadong Hospital, Yu Zhuowei, was quoted as saying.
The actress was diagnosed with the cancer last July, when it had
already developed into a late stage.
Born in Shanghai, the prolific actress was best known for her
portrait of Qiu Xiang in the 1964 Hong Kong box-office hit comedy
San Xiao (Three Charming Smiles).
